Little River in the Smokies

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

River Road between Townsend and Gatlinburg in the Great Smoky Mountains is one of our favorite drives. Little River is always fascinating in any season, and we often stop just to enjoy the water rushing over and around the boulders in the stream. This picture was taken in March, 2010.

Beautiful!!!! I just had another thought!! Why don't you guys put together a travel 'book' -- that would be FANTASTIC!! Complete with a pic or two. I 'd buy that one, too! And then get in my car and follow your route.

I guess there wouldn't be any living things in that water, it's too rough and wild.

Happy New Year From Southern California.

Don't forget to watch the 122nd Rose Parade on New Year's Day coming from Pasadena, California...only 30 miles from The Old Geezer's home :-)
