I got this picture of the Colonial Williamsburg Fife and Drums when we were in Virginia to celebrate our anniversary in 2007. We actually saw two performances of the fife and drum corps while we were in Williamsburg and were so impressed we got a CD of their music.

Hi.
I love parades and this one in the historical surroundings must have been an experience on Your anniversary.
Regards.
Love the costume! I imagine it must be hard to play pipes or flutes while marching. Just thinking about it makes me short of breath.
So cool. I would love to see them in person also...
Boy, this takes one way back in time! Lovely colors...
Oh...some of my distant relatives probably wore this stuff..
AH! Wonderful to see and hear in person I'm sure. ;-)
Great shot, George! We adore Williamsburg and I am so glad the two of you got to go in 2007. Well, thanks so much for your comments on my blog! I appreciate it so much. I don't get to be on here much, but I do what I can, and I love hearing from all of my blogger friends!
