Flowers From Our Yard: Elegant Candy Day Lily

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

Elegant Candy is one of the day lilies in the flower bed nearest the road. This is the second year that we've had this beauty, and since it is a re-bloomer we are still enjoying these pretty blossoms.

This one is beautiful and the color is rose-like. The name mystifies me though as I can't think of any pink candy!

Love the day-lilies! Your picture is good eye-candy. Ginny, cotton candy is pink. Right?

I love the ruffled edges - - it almost looks a bit like an iris, too.
