Starting Up Pikes Peak

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

One of the highlights of our recent western trip was our drive up Pikes Peak.  We stopped and got this view of the mountain as we started up the road.

Welcome back to the real world. So glad you are home safely. I went to the top of Pikes Peak many years ago. It is an experience. I could not do it today.

Widok jest cudowny, mimo iż już jesienny. Szkoda, że lato za nami. Pozdrawiam.
The view is wonderful, even though it already autumn. It is a pity that the summer is over. Yours.

Absolutely gorgeous! It looks like a shot out of the pages of a calendar! Enjoy the week. It's been hovering around 100 degrees here in the San Ramon Valley!

Nice touch, how the branches in the foreground create a frame around the distant peaks.
