Autumn Color in the Glade

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

I went to my archives to get this picture of autumn color along the Druid Hills Golf Course here in the Glade. I know this was captured on the front nine of the course, but I'm not sure which hole.

All that color, plus the reflection of it in the water, with a slice of green grass. Lovely!

Perfect- fall color is just about gone here. I was lucky to catch some while out west last week. Hope you are doing well!

Yes, I would have been better off finding fall color from my pictures of a year ago as this year we were mostly brown. You photo is wonderful.

This looks great in every way! I like the colors, the composition, the reflection... the whole thing!

The name of the golf course reminds me of a MASH episode where Hawkeye invented Captain Tuttle. Hawkeye wrote "Reformed Druid" as Tuttle's religion in the made-up captain's file. When asked what Reformed Druids believed, Hawk said they can worship bushes.

What a lovely place to play golf! I like the softer colours reflected in the water as much as the different colour shades in the trees.

You captured the beauty of the fall leaves perfectly, George.. the reflection looks like a Monet painting.

We had about 100 kids on Halloween night. Last year I took the grandson to a church Trunk or Treat and did a few houses as well, but this year he didn't want to do any trick=or-treat, just to give out the candy to the kids. He had fun.

Beautiful fall color! Hope you and Betsy are doing well.

Now that's enough to get me to take up golf if I could see views such as this. Wishing you and Betsy a great week.
