Busy As A Bee

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

Spring must be here when bees are busy in our redbud tree.  I got this picture on a pretty Spring day last March.

Bee got the news about spring much earlier than us.

It will probably be three or four weeks before I see this outside my window. Great close up shot.

Wow! I'm jealous as all get out of this shot! All your shots are fantastic, but I don't have the opportunity to see most of the things you capture. Bees, I have, but I've never been able to get a photo like this!

Lovely George! You got a gorgeous background in this photo too.
My redbuds aren't showing a hint of blooming yet - too cold I guess.

And enlarge it I DID!! Wow George, WOW!!! A great capture! Now let me ask you....macro or zoom? It looks a bit like a carpenter bee, if so, you can get on top of it and it won't sting. BUT if it is a bumble, look out!

Great photo, George, I love a red
bud tree. Maybe this spring we should plant one.

Look out for that big bee...I think he will be back this year!

Thank goodness for bees!
Beautiful photo.. I think you confirmed my attempt at identifying a photo in my own recent post from our Texas trip. I wasn't sure, as we don't have "redbuds" here at home. Our photos reveal strong similarities and spring timing.. so I'm guessing redbud it is!

Hopefully the bees will be in your yard soon.

Together with spring, I mean.

A red bud tree from last March you say? I am beginning to wonder if spring has forgotten us. Hoping soon you will send warmer weather from your hills. xo teri and thanks for the visit.

Redbuds are a surefire promise of spring in our part of the country. No signs of color yet. Like you, had to go back in the archives from last March to find them. What a contrast in March weather between 2012-13.
