Little River Falls

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

Betsy 'kidnapped' me last Friday and we headed to Fort Payne, Alabama.  Before we checked into our hotel we visited Little River Canyon National Preserve a few miles outside the town.

We first stopped at Little River Falls.  We had been there a few years ago, but this time we found a good water flow and a new boardwalk and observation platform.  I got this photo from the new observation deck.

Marvelous. I'm sure you enjoyed the new observation platform to get an interesting shot and the board walk must have been a good, new experience.

It is a wonderful falls. I suppose spring thaw gives it some more water than usual, but Alabama probably doesn't have snow anymore.
