Mt. Nebo Sunset

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

This picture shows one of the reasons we keep going back to Mt. Nebo in Arkansas.  I captured the setting sun over the mountains to the west from the back porch of 'our' cabin.  I'm pretty sure we'll be going back again.

What I love is that God provided the perfect place for you and Betsy for a retreat! And it doesn't matter the weather, because you always have a great time.

How strangely beautiful, George! A buttermilk sky for miles, then stopping right at this point to let the sun rays out.

I hope your Dad is feeling better this week.

Oh beautiful. I can see the rays coming down. When we were kids we said the rays were Angel slides. The're just having fun. MB

One fall a few years ago I visited the Ozark Scenic National Riverways of southern Missouri with a friend, very beautiful area! At one point I believe we were within a few miles of Arkansas, but I've yet to go there.
Beautiful photo, as always!
