Our First Rose of the Season

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

We think that Winter may be over here on the Plateau.  Our roses are beginning to bloom.  Our first rose to bloom this year, on May 18, was Rio Samba.  Hopefully it is a beautiful preview of more to come.

I have been blessed in Texas on my roses. I have had some of the most beautiful this year. They are gone now, but new buds coming out. Yours is gorgeous. I do not have one that color.

So beautiful. I love the rich color. Our roses are just getting leaves. Not a hint of a bud yet.

LOVE this color! What a lovely rose! My miniature roses are blooming now too. They made it just fine through the winter and are in pots. I love them!
