Chicago Apache Day Lily

We have several new varieties of day lilies this year. Chicago Apache is one of them. Both Betsy and I enjoy its bright red color in our front yard.

A Lady's Life said...: I came across the first one you put up and have it in a big pot. It has lots of bulbs so in the fall I will break them up and fill more pots so they can grow indoors in winter.

The ones outside I can't dig in the hard soil I don't know how they survive.
but the ones in the pots are doing well.
