The rose bush isn't very big, but I love the soft pink color of April in Paris. I've never been to Paris, but people tell me it is as beautiful in Spring as this rose. The nice thing about the rose is that we can enjoy it longer than just Spring.

You have the most fabulous roses in your garden. My neighbour grows lovely roses too. She gave me a bunch a few days ago and they smell beautiful and each day they open a bit more and get lovelier. When I look at them I think of you and Betsy and how good it must be to be surrounded by roses.
