I was going through some of my archived photos when I came across this picture of the American Falls at Niagara. It was taken in August, 2002, when Betsy and I visited the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. That was before I had my good camera, but I'm rather happy with the way this picture turned out.

Talk about some water power!
Pretty look at the waterfalls, George. Great shot!
Even without your good camera, this picture has come out really well George. Love the way the waterfall cascades down to a pool of turquoise :)
gorgeous with or without the good camera
Niagara Falls is an amazing place! We visited there in 2002 as well but in February!! On the day we visited, there were high winds. So high that the ice dam on Lake Erie was broken and HUGE chunks of ice were flowing over the falls. An amazing sight to see!
HI George Great waterfalls. years ago I went in a boat to the falls. It was wonderful.
Beautiful, George!
That's an awesome sight of that powerful waterfall, George! A great shot and I would have been pleased with it if I had taken it!
Gregore, fantastic picture.
I'd love to see Niagara Falls.
It looks great on your photo.
I send greetings.

It turned out great. I remember visiting here when I was in 7th grade with my parents.
Awesome waterfalls.
Being a New Yorker who doesn't live that far from here I have to say I love this pic of the falls. It is beautiful! I hope you got to see the Canadian side as it is much bigger and more dramatic. Either way it produces great amount of electricity!
That is beautiful.
I could hear the ROAR!!

It is a great photo. I was there once back in the 70's.
In my opinion, you have never made a bad picture.
we loved our trip there ... back in 2010 or 2009. it was gorgeous. ( :
would love to see it from the Canadian side one day.
We drove through there in May, but only stopped at the U.S. side.. I like your view better!
One day I'll finish sharing that waterfall tour we took through upstate New York.. Watkins Glen & Niagara are still on my computer waiting to be seen.
It is a beauty. Crisp and clear.

Skill is always more important than a camera.

Um magnífico olhar, George, dessas quedas d'água que considero um verdadeiro "ex-libris".

wishing you a very happy and family filled thanksgiving!
Its truly amazing!
Thanks for sharing..
It's a very good pic. I've never been there, but when I enlarged your shot, I tried to imagine the accompanying roar.
I must say that you captured it well with your "not so good camera" :-)
George, I am so very sorry for the loss your father. My sympathies to you, Betsy and family.
You all remain in my thoughts and prayers throughout this sad time.
We've been all over the country but have never been there. That is really beautiful.
Hi George, that's a fantastic picture even thou with your not so good camera. But it's the skill of person behind the camera that count not the camera. :))
Regards.
