A snowstorm usually means gray, overcast skies. But the day after a snowstorm can be sunny and bright. We got five inches of snow last Wednesday (February 12), but the next morning featured a bright blue sky and sunshine. That made the snow clinging to the trees and on the ground look even more beautiful.
This photo was taken from our front yard on February 13, 2014.

Very lovely!
Yes the snow on the branches make it very appealing.... the pure white and the brown.
Lovely! That brilliant blue sky following the snow storm was just beautiful!
Uma bela e contrastante foto, em que o rendilhado alvo da árvore se projecta num magnífico céu azulinho.
Gostei de ver, George!
Fantastic photo, Sweetie....Love that blue sky... Love our warm, sunny weather today also.

Beautiful shot. Maybe the one good thing about the snow is the photo ops---and that's it!

A pretty and awesome sight, but keep it up there. We are having wonderful sunny days, but the wind is terrible. Guess March decided to come in early.
Wow! The bright white snow and ice really do make that sky dark blue.
The sky is so blue !
love how fluffy & pretty it is ... nice. has it all melted away as of yet? ( :
Oh so pretty.
It is a pretty sight indeed.
That is very beautiful. I've always thought snow was pretty but I do get tired of dealing with it.
Such a "cool" artwork.
You are so right, after the snow...
the sun was amazing.

You have a remarkable skill, George! I appreciate the way you have taken a sharp picture of the snow, and while that is your main subject, the highlights have not been blown out, and neither have any details been lost in the shadows. That's talent. And besides that... it's a pretty scene. :-)
This is a wonderful view. What a beautiful combination of colors.
Greetings :)
Fresh fallen snow can make the world magical. This is a beautiful scene. Thank you George.
Hello George.
