January is a good time for visiting waterfalls. I got this photo of the base of Northrup Falls several years ago. If you look to the left of the falling water you can see Betsy standing behind the falls.

Beautiful spot!
Love that focus of light from above - and that one can explore behind the falls! We've got a 'snowfall' today - hahahaha!
You two or something else. I loved this shot especially with Betsy peeping around the falls,
Hi George, love this photo :)
Beautifully captured.
You so expertly absorbed this beautiful image of Nature ! Thanks a lot for sharing this spectacular picture with us, George.
Betsy and you are two beautiful people :)
Have you visited India and the middle east ?
Oh, Betsy looks so tiny!
Lovely place!
I missed Betsy until I read your comment. this is a falls i really like, it is like it is being poured out of a pitcher, just on the one spot on those steps...
Yes, I can see Betsy.
Happy weekend to both of you.
wow! that sounds awesome going behind falls... great capture
Zdjęcie spadającej wody bardzo mi się podoba. Pozdrawiam.
Photo of falling water I really like. Yours.
It is one of my favorites that you have taken. Great photo.
Oh my goodness! There she is! So small against the falls.
We were up north where everything froze. Even when the dog peed it froze as it touched the ground. Now that's COLD! lol
Beautiful. Reminds me of hanging lace.
The falls do have a delicate look to them and very pretty.
The picture is beautiful, it must be amazing listening to it too.
Very pretty and I could see Betsy when I clicked to enlarge. You two take care.
We saw some wonderful falls in GSMNP when we stopped to visit some friends I Maryville on our way home from Florida
The falling water is beautiful but so are the stair-step rocks on which it lands.
Lovely picture. The falls looks beautiful and nice place to enjoy

the waterfalls are gorgeous!
great work!
January is a good time to visit waterfalls? I wouldn't have thought so. At least not up here. But now I wonder... There was one spot up at Starved Rock that I'm curious to know what it looks like, and whether it has frozen over.
Having Betsy standing there really puts a great perspective on the size of this waterfall.
Looks like a wonderful place to visit.
Nice image.
Thank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
Kevättä ilmassa - meilläkin...
