Betsy and I had to find a new way to get to Hocking Hill’s Lower Falls. There was so much ice in Old Man’s Cave that we couldn’t use that route to the falls. It took some doing to get down to the falls, but I think the view was definitely worth it.

This is magnificent!!! Love the turquoise water beneath the falls and there's a lot of surrounding greenery for there be so much ice.

It is great you both are enjoying the same outdoor activities. Just make sure you have safe footing around the falls.
It certainly was worth it. Awesome. MB
This waterfall was definitely awesome --especially after our crazy hike down those ICY steps to get there.
Love you,

Great picture George. Looks worth it to me.
My sister & her husband have spent quite a bit of vacation time in the Hocking Hills, as his sister lived & worked there. They even had their wedding there! It's a gorgeous place, I'd love to see it some day.
Excellent photo, George!
This is a spectacular shot.

Beautiful view of the falls, George. Happy weekend!

A lovely waterfalls.
Icy, but not frozen.
George, that is beautiful - is there a cave there too? I love places like that to explore.
Fantastic picture. I like the different colors of the water.
An amazing scene - ice and running water. Love the different colours in the water. Happy belated birthday! Your trip was a worthwhile way to mark the day.
Definitely worth the walk. This is a lovely scene. I especially like the beautiful green/turquoise water.
It's lovely, even if it's still partially frozen! Or should I say, because it's still partially frozen.
I think the picture very nicely captured the flow of the waterfall... can literally feel the coolness from the water...
Beautiful falls...
Well clicked...
thanks
It sounds like you had an amazing time! This is a gorgeous shot! Loved the pics on Betsy's blog too.
Very pretty waterfall pic. Thanks for the blog visit and comment.
I spend so much time soaking in the beauty of your photography and the sites that you shoot, that it had not even occurred to me that the way might be treacherous. Please be careful. I'm sure you are.
Awesome... you captured this very well...
Awesome!
Fabulous shot. Nothing stops you two from getting to a waterfall.
