Wilderness Falls

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

Several years ago Betsy and I were exploring part of the Cherokee National Forest in northeast Tennessee when we came across this pretty little waterfall on Unaka Mountain.  One of the reasons we enjoy traveling along Forest Service roads is that gems like this might be around each curve.

I am sure there is a waterfall somewhere in the states you have missed. Not many tho. I enjoy seeing them as I would not see them otherwise.

When I saw the wonderful falls I wondered if they every get iced over. With the cold we are having they might get a little iced up.

It doesn't have to be large to be beautiful, as you have shown us here. Great shot!
