Betsy and I were putting away the bird feeders yesterday evening just before it got dark. We were on the deck behind the house when we both noticed the most incredible fragrance -- the lilies are in bloom. The lily above, Treffer, is one of those lilies we are now enjoying.

How gorgeous George!!!
You put away the feeders? Daily? Am I supposed to do this also?
Geoge, love the color on thi thing...you must have had perfect light conditions on this shot, visually very pleasing
Another lovely lily, George! I stopped growing lilies (not daylilies) a few years ago because the lily beetle has become a terrible problem here. Hope those nasty beetles aren't moving into your area because your lilies are so pretty.
Beautiful shot and beautiful lily! Wish I could smell it. Nothing better than to smell the flowers in your own garden. :-)
Great color. This is a most spectacular lily!
That is a great photo!! I love the color.
My Dad used to grow these. We had a yard full of them.:)
They are so easy to grow and require little upkeep.
:)
He had lilies here, but no more, because there too much some small isect from year to year.
Gorgeous photo George.
