Exotic Beauty
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)
This is one of the blossoms that Betsy and I saw in the Conservatory at the Biltmore Estate when we visited last month. I was struck by the colors and the markings on the petals.
This is a wonderful shot George. The flower is very beautiful but I really like the “veins” (not sure if veins is correct) appearing to be spreading out from the center.

Orchids are so exotic they're almost alien!! But in a good way!!
Just lovely! And thank you for your sweet comment on my blog the other day. xo
Exotic indeed.
Yellow and pink, what a lovely combination. It makes me think of one or two of your roses that have that color, and they are my favorites.
So very beautiful, George!
My hubby has one of these orchids hang in our trees, where they get the right amount of sun and shade.
be well n happy, George.

Orchids have a sophisticated kind of beauty already, but the complexity of this extra pattern intrigues me. I really like this flower, George.
