Sometimes getting to a waterfall can be an interesting experience. Upper Hogskin Branch Falls is near Flag Pond, Tennessee. It's a pretty little waterfall, but access was almost impossible. To get this picture I had to bushwhack through a gully that was used as a dump. Only in Tennessee.

Hi George Well it waswell worth the track as you got a great shot.
so beautiful and peaceful looking... sorry to hear about your dad.
Beautiful cascading water. Glad you got to take this picture George :)
Your persistence paid off; that's a rewarding find.
Hey, I just learned of the passing of your father. That's great to hear that he reached 101! Still, I am sorry for your loss. May our Lord give you comfort and peace to sustain you while you suffer the loss. I didn't know him of course, but I know that he influenced a man of good character in you. A good son is a great legacy for a man.
this is really superb!
sorry to hear about your father.
Whatever you went through to capture this sight was worth it. Very pretty view.
If it were here today, it would freeze.
Yikes! But the picture was worth it...:)
Bushwhacking for the perfect shot, now that's the spirit!
Thoughts and prayers as you, Betsy and the family deal with the loss of your dear father.

George, just read Betsy's blog and was so sad and sorry to read that your Dad has died. Please know my prayers and thoughts are with you. He sure lived a long and happy life and I know you must be comforted knowing that he is now in heaven with you mom.
You got an excellent capture!
I see from other comments that your father died recently. Sounds like he lived a long time. May you feel the comfort of loved ones at this time, and live a long life as he did! Best wishes.
