Upper Hogskin Branch Falls

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

Sometimes getting to a waterfall can be an interesting experience.  Upper Hogskin Branch Falls is near Flag Pond, Tennessee.  It's a pretty little waterfall, but access was almost impossible.  To get this picture I had to bushwhack through a gully that was used as a dump.  Only in Tennessee.

Your persistence paid off; that's a rewarding find.

Hey, I just learned of the passing of your father. That's great to hear that he reached 101! Still, I am sorry for your loss. May our Lord give you comfort and peace to sustain you while you suffer the loss. I didn't know him of course, but I know that he influenced a man of good character in you. A good son is a great legacy for a man.

Whatever you went through to capture this sight was worth it. Very pretty view.
If it were here today, it would freeze.

I see from other comments that your father died recently. Sounds like he lived a long time. May you feel the comfort of loved ones at this time, and live a long life as he did! Best wishes.
