Desoto State Park

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

Betsy and I have visited Desoto State Park in Alabama several times.  It offers beautiful waterfalls and good hiking.  Just above the brink of Desoto Falls is a dam which forms Desoto State Park Lake.  This dam can also present a beautiful photo opportunity, as can be seen by the photo above.

Desoto Falls is so pretty.... I love it from the side --but I especially love it when we hike around the woods and capture it from the front.... We need to go back to that area soon.

Love,
Wifey

This is an awesome photo. And I lOVE the brilliant shade of the water. Such an intense green...maybe from the reflecting trees...
