Chihuly at Biltmore

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

In September Betsy and I went to Biltmore to see the Chihuly exhibit at night.  We arrived late in the afternoon, which is when I got this photo of “Sole d’Oro”, which was located on the lawn in front of the house.  The sun was directly behind the glass sculpture when I got this photo, which caused the sculpture to glow in the light.

Beautiful photo, Honey. I certainly enjoyed seeing all of the Chihuly exhibits at Biltmore --especially during the late afternoon and evening.

Love,

Totally awesome picture!! We saw an exhibit a few years, and they had a similar chandelier, but blue.

For a moment there i thought its a Sunflower with all its seeds sprouting all at once on the flower itself. It happen before for my roselle plant. the seed sprouted INSIDE the flower.

What a mesmerizing piece of art....is it a sun, or is it my hair on a windy day?

What a great shot! Although it does make me think of a bad hair day. ;)
