Mother of Pearl Rose

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

I’m beginning to think that it is unwise of Betsy and me to visit the Walled Garden at the Biltmore Estate.  When we were there in May we saw this beautiful rose — Mother of Pearl.  Now we’re trying to find a place for it in our yard!

Very unusual and lovely. Never doubt you will find a place and it will do well. Give Betsy my love and take care.

That will be a beautiful one to own. I plant roses and then have to move them as the coneflowers invade the rose’s territory.
