Sheer Magic Rose

The rose above is another from our garden. We got Sheer Magic in 2007 and we enjoy both the coloration and the light fragrance. As is often the case with bicolor roses, the colors change as the blossom ages.

The shading and color gradations on bicolor flowers -- including roses -- always fascinate me. This is a particularly pretty.

Very exquisite rose, George! The colours are so refined and pretty. Thanks for showing and for your visit. Hitch-hiking in those days, 50 years ago was not dangerous, not in England, Germany and Scandinavia.

Beautiful how the petals are darker on the outside. Aptly named!
