Wesner Bald Overlook

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

The Blue Ridge Parkway is a part of the National Park System and is sometimes called "America's Favorite Drive". It is also one of America's most beautiful drives. The picture above was taken in late October at Wesner Bald Overlook in North Carolina.

With views like that, I think my husband — who absolutely hates driving — might actually be convinced to take a road trip! Beautiful!

I loved your great park picture. However, you know my love of roses, so it is my favorite for today.

I too can understand why this is called "America's Favorite Drive". One day we hope to visit this area and take a drive in person!
