Moon Over the Beach
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
When Betsy and I were at the beach last year, we were treated to a night moonrise over the ocean from our room. We were able to see the moon over the ocean this year as well, but it was during the day from the beach. You have to look carefully, but the moon is visible in the upper part of the picture above.

I really like this photo. Other than the thin strip of beach, Sea and the clouds in the horizon at the bottom, the major part of the picture is clear blue sky with a faint moon.
I can't get over the blue of the sky.It almost doesn't look real, but I am sure it is.
Blessings,Ruth
I love it when the moon is visible during the day. It's a treat! And at the beach, it's even better.
George, that is a very pretty blue sight. Believe it or not, with my poor eyes, I saw the moon. Had to enlarge the picture tho.
I love the blue sky, though the moon is not a bad idea.
Sure would love to be walking there!!
I love the variations of blue in the sky and the edge of puffy clouds. Beautiful picture!
Sunny :)
How gorgeous !
The most incredible blue sky, and then that moonrise is the icing on the cake.
I feel refreshed already :)
Thanks for sharing George.
maybe the person who wrote the song Blue Skies was on your beach. gorgeous color and beach. you did a good job of catching the daytime moon, so did betsy, i forgot to say that to her so please tell her.
I see it! Beautiful beach and sky! Looks like a wonderful place for a vacation.
I see the moon well, Betsy had a similar picture. But why would it be in the daytime sky one year and not on another year? Aren't the moon cycles constant or am I just really stupid? It is a really lovely picture.
That blue is breathtaking! What a great photo.
Sometimes you gotta break the rule of thirds. Nicely done... very dramatic!
Even without enlarging it, I saw the moon immediately. Wonderful! I love it when the moon comes out while the sky is still blue.
Gorgeous blue!
