Welcome to Winter

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

Although this picture was taken several years ago when we lived in Hendersonville, Tennessee, I think it is a wonderful winter scene with the icy trees and blue skies. I also like the sun peeking around the branches of the tree.

Looks like the snow is winning the battle against the sun, come to think of it I haven't seen the sun for weeks!!!

Have a Happy New Year

A very accurate depiction of the whole winter scene, George! Cold, icy looking sticks of tree limbs, with the sun hiding behind them. No clouds - so the earth has no blanket to keep warm.

Thank goodnness we have not had any of that here. Hope we do not.

We do have many one lane bridges. People have to give way.

Like how you caught that starburst.

Nice. That sunburst is a great part of the picture. Funny, how cold it can be under those blue skies.
