Little River Canyon National Preserve

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

Betsy and I have visited Little River Canyon National Preserve near Fort Payne, Alabama several times. The Scenic Drive along the rim of the canyon offers several overlooks with views of the canyon and river below. This photograph of the river taken in February, 2010.

Love your header. How nice in the tropics to have frozen twigs for childtrn to suck on.

I really like the color of blue that the water projects and the motion of the water running downhill must be quick. Great photo.

You are such a great hiker. Me and my cat did a little forest walk. He didn't like the snow.
Cheers from Cottage Country!

Rushing water always seems to have a life of its own. Very nice. Of course, I always wonder if trout live there... :)
