Pine Needles in the Snow

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

I really don't appreciate cold weather, and it's cold when pine needles collect snow and ice. But even I will admit that pine needles can look pretty when decorated this way.

I am like you when it comes to snow and ice. I think it's pretty BUT I don't like all the work that follows. :)

I am not a cold weather person either. However, around here this year, we really have not had any really cold days. I am looking forward to seeing the flowers in bloom and not ice on trees.

Nice. I like how the snow glimmers and shines when light bounces off it.

Gorgeous picture! We are expecting Siberian cold here in Rome these days, and maybe even snow!!! It hardly ever rains in Rome. I lived in New York for many years and I couldn't believe how much it snowed! Elvis is my daughter's idol and her dream is to go to Tennessee to see Graceland. I am following you, it's so interesting to see pictures of Tennessee.

These are lovely ones! I always adored the pine bough motif in the winter, but I'm with you about not liking the cold!

Thank you SO MUCH for your well-wishes for my husband's cancer!

This is a marvelous shot. I don't like ice when it damages but I do like the formations on the needles.

I don't like feeling cold, but I like dressing warmly, and hot chocolate and fire places and even picking up my dog--because the little mutt is warm. Hey, these ice pics are wonderful!
