Betsy and I spent a week at one of our very favorite places -- Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. The weather was nearly perfect, and we practically had the beach to ourselves part of the time. The picture above does a fairly good job of showing why we like this place so much.

we always went to Ormond Beach in May and October because the beach was like this one, just US and the wonderful beaches.

George, a Myrtle Beach vacation is one of my rare memories of taking a little time off while I was working. I was allowed 30 days a year but almost never took it. Once we went to Myrtle Beach and stayed a whole month in a beach-front hotel and it was the BEST! Calabash Seafood in the edge of NC was the best I've ever eaten ... well at least tied with Charlies Fish-house in Crystal River, Florida! Beautiful shot here, George.
It is a beautiful place, George and I would like to be there too. I guess I'll have to visit a beach on the west coast. I do enjoy your pics though. I am glad you all had a marvy time. MB
I love the beach when it is empty. Great place for walking. I haven't done it in ages though.

I'd say the picture does a VERY good job of showing why you - or nearly anyone - would like that place! (And I am a fan of secluded beaches, as opposed to crowded one, any time!)
