Cane Creek Falls
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)
Betsy and I visit Fall Creek Falls State Park here in Tennessee several times each year -- it's a special place for us. It also has five major waterfalls and is where we started our waterfall 'collection'. Cane Creek Falls is one of those waterfalls and is one of the first we saw together.

Very nice. Did you use the new lens on this one?
great capture! what a beautiful place :)
Beautiful! So many times we forget to explore and appreciate the beauty so close to home.
That is a beautiful Fall.
i would love to visit these falls in that state park.
Sweet memories flow with the tides of time for the two of you in the magical place.
I am glad to revisit this place.
When I see travel brochures about Tennessee they always include your wonder falls in the photos.
Thanks for posting beautiful photos of the Cumberland Plateau region. My organization, Alliance for the Cumberlands is working to build a nation wide interest in this region as a destination and conservation priority.
We just launched an awesome Web site that helps people explore the region and build stop by stop itineraries. http://EdgeTrekker.com
If you have any photos that you can donate to our cause and use on the website then let me know -
Thanks!
That is so pretty and extra special because it has such a nice happy memory for you. : )
It's a magnificent photo. Love how the water on the falls perfectly blend with the rocks.
Beautiful..I love the flow of that waterfall, you are using a special lens for it right?
This is lovely, especially the way the greenery is framing it.
Sounds like this place holds special memories. Great photo of a beautiful waterfall!
So it's not just the sights that lure you back, but the memories as well. Keep on making new memories.
very beautifull this place, fantastic water effect =)
Just beautiful...so relaxing.
Pure magic, George!
Great shot, from being up the creek George.
We have a few waterfalls but I have yet to see them
You are lucky to be able to find them all :)
The height is dizzying. Great shot.
Now THAT is a waterfall!
Beautiful shot George!
do you and Betsy go in the water? My friend just wrote that her daughter in a Brstish International school in the Himalayas almost drowned. Slipped off a rock at a swift flowing waterfall.
That's lovely falls... i heard more about it in Betsy's blog.
I love the waterfall in this pretty picture.
It is so lovely!
This is an AWESOME Waterfall!!
I love your waterfalls!
You know my love for waterfalls. This is a beauty.
I love the new filter you are using for waterfall photos. So pretty!
We love waterfalls too. Five in one park? I will have to remember that if we are ever in that neck of the woods...
Awww, that's sweet! Wish I can see more of our waterfalls, but I realized quite some time ago that both my husband and I are just not outdoorsy people (except for beaches).
I apologize for disappearing again. My husband and went on a long road trip (I didn't have time to create scheduled posts) and when we got home a week ago, we discovered that we didn't have our land line or internet connection. Despite following up everyday (sometimes twice a day) no service crew has yet come to our house. I'm in an internet cafe in a mall right now. :(
