Ammons Creek Falls
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)
Ammons Creek Falls is a pretty waterfall near Clayton, Georgia. We got to the waterfall after a fairly long, mostly downhill hike. Getting back to the car was definitely harder than getting to the waterfall, but we think it was worth the effort.

Beautiful, George. I'll bet that uphill climb was a booger!
We also saw a waterfall today, but it was a lot smaller than yours. Here in Queensland there are a few falls but they are not that impressive like the ones you have in your surroundings! Thanks for sharing!
I love the Clayton area and this photo is very beautiful, George.
I love hiking, and I love waterfall as well.
You have both of them too.
it has been many moons since i went up or down when hiking, here it is east and west or south and north, no up and down except for a tower here and there.
This is especially nice when enlarged!
Lovely cascade! Its a worth capture from the tough hike.
Wow! I'd say it was definitely worth it!
Love how the water comes down in theses falls.
The hike back was definitely worth it. Beautiful falls. I agree with imac and love how the water separates coming down.
Well worth the effort. This is a beautiful falls. The sound must have been mesmerizing.

Beautiful photo. spectacular waterfall.
Wygląda jakby płynęły dwa strumyki obok siebie. Piękne zdjęcie. Pozdrawiam.
Looks like two streams flowing side by side. Beautiful picture. Yours.
Great place to visit and spend time.
Refreshing waterfall! Lovely photo
Beautiful !
It almost looks like stairs you can climband at the bottom it looks like there is a face.
Your photos are beautiful! I joined your blog and look forward to seeing more :)
I love the tangled look of this waterfall, great shot George.
Those hikes are why you and Betsy stay so trim! That waterfall looks like lace draping over the rocks. It's beautiful.
This one's a beauty, well worth the hike. I really like how the water comes down in 2 curved paths.
Very nice and I almost missed it. I thought when the wedding was over that we would have more time but it hasn't materialized yet. :)
