Summer Nights Rose
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)
We only have one new rose in our yard this year, Summer Nights. I'm not sure how this rose got its name; it seems too bright and colorful to have anything to do with night. But we're glad to welcome this showy rose into our yard.

It is a beauty and I am sure adds to the beauty of your yard.
Wow! Gorgeous Rose capture... Love it quite :)
So beautiful.
Delicious rose, I like the petals and as forming a heart in the center.
It has deep colors in it so this might be why it's associated with night. Lovely :)
Wow, that is gorgeous and so crisp and clear.
Very fond of these bi-colors (is that the proper name for this shading?). I can see how it could deserve this name--kind of like a showy sunset.
Hi George,
Very nice combination of colours. My all-time favourite flower - roses. :-)
Nice colors.
Very uncommon.

This is a beauty! I hope this very hot, dry summer has not been too hard on your roses.
I love the different shades of this rose :)
It's a beauty. Summer Nights is a romantic name. And it is a romantic-looking rose. I'll bet Betsy agrees!
An exquisite jewel of your garden, George!
What a beautiful splash of color!
It IS lovely, isn't it? Like Double Delight, but with more yellow. Reminds me of a summer sunset.
That sure IS showy! Those colors really pop.
you know George; I have a rose that looks identical to this (growing in Ayustralia), and it's known as Double Delight. You may find it on Google/images I'm sure
It's really beautiful! I bet it glows brightly in the moonlight!
Lovely Shot...
