Mountains and Clouds
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)
As most of you know, Betsy and I love the mountains -- the Smoky Mountains here in Tennessee and the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina and Virginia. We enjoy visiting the mountains just about any time of the year.
The picture above shows the view in late November from Craggy Gardens on the Blue Ridge Parkway north of Asheville, North Carolina. I really like the clouds and mountains stretching to the horizon.

A breathtaking photo, George!
Looks like some of those clouds may have had some rain.
Well, I can see why you like being in the mountains, George. Very lovely!
today i am wishing i could see these mountains, we see beaches all the time, it has been many many years since i have seen this type of beauty
Very pretty. It's interesting how clouds just seem to gravitate to mountains sometimes.
No artist will ever be as great as what the good Lord paints.

It is a beautiful shot.
Wonderful shot! The blue shades out there are fascinating
The blue hills in the BG look great!
Beautiful shot, George. Looks like a famous painting. You had better frame it. MB
Looks like around here. I never get tired of it!
The lays and depth in this picture are amazing.
How lovely, George!
Hi George, amazing! Excellent click.
I love your new header, your lovely comfort home. :)
Have a great week ahead,regards.
Those are some clouds. Nature is always changing and we love watching. Feels like home doesn't it.
I like the contrast of the colors - - the brown & shadows in front and the pretty blue and sunshine in the back. Kind of like the "Wizard of Oz" Movie when it switches from black & white to color.
An awesome view! And you captured it beautifully.
Love how the landscape just seems to go on and on!
Beautiful shot George!
Lovely! I like the mountains too. And they change constantly, of course.
Nice view of these peaks kissing the sky, I like this composition.
Before scrolling down to your description thought this shot may have been from your trip out west--it has that feel.
I look forward to some photos of the Blue Ridges covered with snow. In the meantime, the contours of the mountains are just so dramatic here.
You have made me feeling the same: love the mountains.
Hi Gary and Betsy! I wish you a very happy and healthy new year!
Tasmania looks like the photos you show us. There are also waterfalls and mountains.
Stunning George; love it.
Very nice. I really really like that panorama, George....
