Redbud in Bloom

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

Redbud trees in bloom are a sure sign that Spring has arrived on the Plateau.  We have two redbuds in our front yard, and we always look forward to their Spring display.  This photo, from my archives, was taken a couple of years ago.

The redbud tree is new to me and that looks like a beautiful specimen. You must look forward to your two trees coming into bloom in your yard.

It is just stunning, George. I think redbud are some of the prettiest trees in the spring. But why do we only see them on the side of highways and no one seems to have them in their yards. Seems they are eschewed by the gardening population...

Such a gorgeous contrast between the two brilliant springtime colors - - the flowers and the sky! It looks like Easter.

I realize that you said it's from the archives, but that is a welcome sight after the harsh winter we just endured.
