Rhododendron Blossoms

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

Betsy and I are confident that Spring has come to stay when the big rhododendron by our deck bursts into bloom.  It has beautiful pink blossoms that are always a welcome sight.

We have only one variety of these flowers that will bloom in Iowa and not freeze out. I don't own one but they do stay pretty small in stature.

So beautiful, George. This is a wonderful preview for us here in Maryland.

Did I tell you I lost 15 roses because of the polar vortex? :(

I am waiting for the weather to get warm so I can do a little work outside.
