Fort Erie Firing Demonstration

While Betsy and I were visiting Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada, in 2002, the 'redcoats' gave a firing demonstration of their circa 1814 muskets. The collage above shows the highlights of that demonstration.

I never realized just how long those muskets with bayonets were until today! Are the guns really almost 200 years old? Amazing.
