Niagara Falls from the River
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
The picture above is a scan from a slide made several years ago. Betsy and I were on the Maid of the Mist at Niagara Falls, and we were approaching the Canadian (Horseshoe) Falls. We had passed the American Falls and this is the first view we had of Canadian Falls from the deck. It's not a typical view of the Horseshoe Falls, but I like it nonetheless.

I like the falls from this angle. It has been years since I went there, in fact, it has to be...holy moly...almost 50 years!
Thanks for the memory!
Sunny :)
It's an unusual view and that's why I like it. Makes one realize that not only do waterfalls have width and height, but also thickness/depth (the powerful ones, at least). Amazing.
'Tis glorious!
I agree,I do like this angle.Sometimes it is good to see a familiar landmark from a different approach.
Blessings,Ruth
I think this is beautiful... it is a pretty view... no matter which way you look at it!

This photo is making me think I NEED to revisit the falls soon.
I like it very much. I swear I can hear the roar of the water from here.
Great angle. I can say it, because I have been visiting here many years ago with my wife.
