Working on Bali

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

This is a drive-by picture taken from a van as we passed some rice paddies on Bali. I was attracted by the boy working with the water buffalo as well as the palm trees surrounding the paddies.

The picture above was scanned from a slide.

This is very striking and unusual! Especially the deep rows contrasting with the palms. Interesting the boy is wearing all red, I think they are very colorful in Bali? They must have beautiful fabrics.

I am glad you have been to a tropical country, but you have missed Malaysia, and Penang.

I've watched TV shows about the workings of a rice paddy and it's always amazing to me how it all works.
Wouldn't it be nice to be in Bali now?
