Autumn in the Smokies

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

This past Tuesday Betsy and I drove Newfound Gap Road through the Smokies from Tennessee to North Carolina. This picture was taken at an overlook near Chimney Tops.

I envy you and Betsy. I wish I had someone to travel with me and still see some of the beauty in our country. Glad you had a safe trip and back in blog country.

Enjoy George. This is the best time of the year to enjoy. The scenery is on fire, all aglow, waiting for the deep sleep so it can awake to a bright new dawn and rebirth.
Lovely.:)
