Gold on Balsam Mountain
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
Last Tuesday Betsy and I interrupted our trip to Maggie Valley, North Carolina, in order to take a hike to an overlook on Balsam Mountain. Before reaching the overlook I looked up and discovered gold.
Good Morning George, What a pretty shot of the gold leaves against the sky! We certainly enjoyed our time together on Monday. Hope you have a wonderful day.

Yes, that's gold says King Midas. I used to joke that if only they are real gold. We have two trees like that, and they drop their leaves on my cars.

That color always amazes me as it can be a cloudy day and near one of those golden trees, it's totally sunny.
