Red Leaves, Blue Sky
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
I have been trying to learn to use the manual settings on my camera, which means I have to stop and think instead of simply pressing the shutter.
As a result I've found myself looking up through the colorful autumn leaves rather than simply looking at them. This is what my camera and I saw Sunday at Fall Creek Falls State Park here in Tennessee.

What a beautiful shot George. The red leaves really stand out against the brilliant blue sky.
Then your photos can talk more compared to the old time.
They are going to be talkative.
the color of fire in the sky. gorgeous
Can't get any better than this can it? MB
I love this shot George. So pretty.
wow! nice autumn colours, wish my country have 4 seasons. sigh...
A nice, crisp picture! I find more and more that thinking gives me a headache.
Love the contrast of the 2 colors.

There is certainly a very beautiful contrast in colors George :)

You and your camera got a lovely view. The red is wonderfully vivid against the sky.
Nice job here, with the manual settings. That has been a real challenge for me.
Red and blue speaks to my heart. From my earliest days I was very patriotic and my favorite superhero was Superman. So when I see this pic, something inside me wants to stand up and cheer.
Beautiful how the colors contrast and also compliment each other.
Wonderful leaves...
Kisses, dear friend!
Fantastic photography George!
A great photo, friend!
Beautiful shot. The red leaves against the blue sky is fantastic.
Great results of the manual setting. :)
Beautiful. Love how the colors look together!!!
You seem to be a fast learner. The colors are brilliant!
awesome capture. love the vibrant and bold colours.
If I had to stop and think before I snapped a picture I would never get one taken! :-)
http://annsnowchin.blogspot.com/2010/10/outdoor-wednesday-farm.html,
This is my invite to you and Betsy.
My little camera has manual setting, I mainly use auto. The only time I found if the battery is low, I can't shoot with Auto, I can if I go to landscape.
Your red leaves look like flowers.
I think my Canon Powershot A530 is packing up, the view finder is gone. Today, I have to shoot in the blind.
Super photo George!
Contrasting beauty George.
gorgeous George! Learning how to use the settings is the way we get to make a different kind of art. Fun.
Stopping by to wish you a beautiful Sunday!
Glorious contrast...love it!
Oh you do have some vibrant and beautiful colors going on there.
WoW George! This is my FAV!!! My husband has taken a few classes to learn about manual settings too! I LOVE watching him grow & develop his gift of photography
