Fairfield Glade in the Morning

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

I came across this picture in my archives, and it was so wonderful to see green instead of white that I decided to share it with you. This picture was taken during a walk on the golf course in June. Early in the morning we often have the course to ourselves.

Very pretty and peaceful view. The predicted rain this week should wash away most of our snow.

Beautiful! It's foggy and raining here this a.m., so this photo is quite a spirit-lifter!

Ah, lovely path. I'm sure you know it calls me to go for a walk on it. :-)

I thought the exact same thing when I first saw this photo! GREEN!!

We can walk the golf course around here only when the greens are covered with snow. A paradox, no?

What a lovely picture of a long and winding road, but with the light peeking through at the end! A good spiritual analogy I think.

It's nice to see green instead of brown where we are! I guess you still have a ton of snow, stay warm!

I may not be required for the walk with you...

but the green is lovely.

It's very hot, and while the fan is whirling, it is still hot. I have in my church office getting my book printed. (3rd draft) ( I should be telling Betsy this. I don't remember if I told you. I told Betsy when I first started writing it.

A nice quiet and relaxing landscape, but I confess that I would have preferred no way around a green.

The green stuff over here is finally winning the battle against the white stuff. At last.

I just told my husband today how dirty winter is around here after the snow starts to melt. So this picture helps remind me of the clean beauty of warmer days! :)
