Gazebo in the Moonlight
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
I keep trying my hand at night photography. I'm not always successful, but I do like this picture of a gazebo under a full moon. The picture was taken at the Islander Inn on Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, back in December, 2010.

Intriguing. I've about given up on night photography.
Beautiful night light with the moon in the background.
Lovely!
At least you got a shot at the supermoon ...
That is pretty cool shot!! I so too love night shots there is something in shooting at night that brings mystique to our photo ^_^ Happy Wednesday! And thanks for the visit!

Very nice. A full moon and a gazebo - very romantic.
You did good this time, George. It's beautiful!! Did you use a tripod? The shutter stays open so long on night setting, even steady hands don't seem to work for me.
Great picture. It could be featured in a magazine, calling all lovers to get a Gazebo like that.
Too right George, its a beaut of a night shot.
That's a great shot George. Loved it.
Look at the moon. It was staring at you while you took the picture of the gazebo. It's neat.
This truly a picture well worth enlarging and framing. It is unique.
Well done George.:)
I like this, George. I've tried to take a few night shots and agree they are hard to get right. That's why you rarely see them on my blog. :)
wooo hooo Christmas palms AND a gazebo. gorgeous
You did a marvelous job George. Such a pretty location.
I think you are doing great with your night work. I never figured it out on my little digital. Now I cannot do anything, but take pictures. It had a little accident. I may have to get a new one.
how utterly romantic. i love this shot George.
You capture some beautiful atmosphere here!
That is a great shot, George! I admit to being challenged by night photography myself...terrific job!!

That photo got me all excited!
Great shot!!
Now that's a romantic scene! I hope Betsy was there to enjoy it with you.
Gazebos are great, but a gazebo by the beach is FANTASTIC!
i like that shot! It almost seems unreal (maybe it's those lights spiraling up the trees), but it is very clear and sharp for a night shot.
Good photographs!. I felt a serenity and peace when I saw the photo.
