Flowers From Our Yard: About Face Rose
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
About Face is one of our favorite roses. It is prolific and the color is beautiful. The most interesting thing about this rose -- the reason for its name -- is that the darker color is on the outer side of the petal while the lighter color is on the inner side. Most roses are the opposite.

Nice and smooth tones and excellent texture. A beautiful flower.
Every lady must like this rose very much.
Beautiful rose--they can be just "perfect" sometimes. Love the bridge and reflection--great. Mickie :)
Lovely and interesting shading! What kind of fragrance does this rose have?
Beautiful Rose, George. I think I will look for it as I am going to the nursery today. MB

Beautiful, I'm just curious but does the white rose grow there. The national flower of Jacobite Scotland.

Fascinating!! I thought it looked rather antiqued somehow, maybe this is why.

The color pattern is interesting an unusual. All of your roses look so perfect, George.
I love this color combo. Just so pretty.
I'm especially fond of orange blossoms. I think they look fabulous in just about anyone's gardens - all orange or mixed with other colours. :)
Lovely George!
That black background is perfect. It makes the rose really stand out.
What a beauty.. you grow the most amazing roses, George. They are all so different in color contrast.
Enjoy your weekend, be Well and Happy
Pam
A beauty alright, George. I miss not being able to grow roses in our new location but trading in all my giant oak trees for a few roses just wasn't doable.... :)
