Can Spring Possibly Be Here?

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

Yesterday was a bright, warm, Spring-like day, and although I enjoyed it, I was surprised to see these beautiful daffodils in bloom in our front yard. I love those cheery, sunny blossoms, but they've opened about three weeks earlier than last year. I hope we don't have any more freezing weather, but it's a long time until Spring really gets here.

What more proof do we need George that spring is here, be it only a short time - as the weather these days seems to be anyhow.
What a fab shot George - brightens up my day.

Nature wanted to give you and Betsy her spring preview of the beauty to come.
Gorgeous daffodils, George.

Beautiful, George! I don't understand it - and I don't think the weather service does either. They were predicting 55degrees this a.m. and it's 70!

The weather is tricking the flora and I am not sure its a good thing if we get frost later. But it makes you feel good doesn't it?
We had a few large flakes of snow just now but they stopped and its replaced by a slight drizzle.

Those are pretty. We are enjoying that warm weather too. Few bad storms in the area today. No where close to us, though. I do think that spring has sprung... ;)

Lucky you, daffodils already. Hope you don't have a hard frost to kill them. I love the beautiful strong yellows in daffodils.

As disappointing as the Winter was this year I am hoping for spring, maybe even a few days early as we are planning a trip to Washington and Oregon in late March. I don't expect to see our daffodils by then though.
