Little River Falls

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

One of the places Betsy and I enjoy visiting is Little River Canyon National Preserve near Fort Payne, Alabama. There are many lookouts with beautiful views, but one stop we especially enjoy is at Little River Falls near the head of the canyon. This picture of the falls was taken in February, 2010.

The sound of water as it flows over the rocks is always wonderful, maybe even fascinating. I like the photo and enjoyed visiting Alabama, never been there.

Not quite sure how high these falls are - but we've had some great experiences downunder sitting under low waterfalls on hot days!!
