Bee at Work
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)
One afternoon last week I captured this photo of a bee busily at work among the blossoms on our redbud tree. I was experimenting with my macro lens when I got this picture.
It looks a bit like a Carpenter Bee, George. They can BEE hard to tell from a bumblebee. But the Carpenters won't sting, and you can even grab them in your hand. I'm NOT suggesting you try this! Keep up the good work, but BEE careful!
You're doing well with your macro experiments, George. Most of mine turn out to be unintentional bokehs! The redbuds are at their best right now and the bumble bees are coming out around here too. I just ushered one out under a glass that had gotten in the house recently.
