Falls on Reems Creek

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

When we were in North Carolina at the end of January, Betsy and I visited the Falls on Reems Creek in Weaverville, North Carolina. The falls is caused by a dam at an old mill site, but with something this beautiful, who cares how it came into being?

I would suggested you two continue to visit as many falls as you can find and share the beauty you see with us.

Thanks George, I love how you captured the water spilling over the rocks.

I love the color of the water in the waterfall - is it that blue or is it the reflection of the sun. sandie

At first glanced I knew it was created by a dam. We have the same here and maybe that made me recognize the likeness. But yes, who cares how it came to being.
