Memorial Day Rose
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
One of the first roses we got here in the Glade is Memorial Day. We got this All-America Rose Selection award winner in 2005 and greatly enjoy both its large blossoms and strong fragrance.
What a perfect rose for today. The memories of 9/11 will live forever.Even though I am from Canada,it is still something that affects us all. Blessings,Ruth

All-American Rose Selection award winner! Thumbs up.
Your roses are so beautiful. And that new bed you put in revealed an impressive amount of work. I'm looking forward to seeing what blooms next spring!
You are truly the King of Roses!
Sunny :)
Thanks for your prayers George. This is a beautiful rose and looks like the middle is ready to burst open!
How fitting for today, as we memorialize all the lives lost.

I really appreciate a fragrant rose, I must admit. This one is a pretty shade of rose, too.
I am at a loss for words. I do believe each rose gets more beautiful. I bet it smells good around your place.
What a lovely rose for your post on that date!
